AIRLINE PROGRAM DELIVERS JUST REWARDS

New Zealand regional carrier Origin Pacific has launched what it believes is one of the most - if not the most - rewarding and innovative consumer loyalty programs offered by an airline.

Known as Origin Flyer, this new addition to the airline's existing incentive programs is designed to build a closer relationship with, and reward, frequent flying customers. Origin Airlines, and their partner, Visible Results, are confident that Origin Flyer will be a breath of fresh air for the New Zealand traveller through its ease of use.

Origin Flyer utilises the Visible Results Graphicard™ loyalty platform. The program was designed to directly address two of the major complaints many travellers have about frequent flyer programs-namely administrative transparency and the immediacy and visibility of rewards.

Thanks to Visible Results' smart point-of-sale technology utilising their rewritable member's card, members will receive program updates and rewards at the time they fly. A status report tracking progress toward the program's ultimate reward-one free flight for every 12 one-way, or six return, flights-will be updated, and printed on the member's card, at the airport check in. In addition, they'll receive added value awards and discount vouchers for partner products and services when they first sign up to become Origin Flyer members, and also on certain flights.

A real strength of the programme is that the free flight coupons are fully transferable. They may be used for any 'Just Go' seat for any destination to which Origin Pacific flies.

The Origin Flyer launch coincides with 'a welcome emergence' from a period of aero-political uncertainty in the New Zealand market that stymied the airline's development' says Origin Pacific Executive Chairman Robert Inglis. "Rather than being just a 'me too' offering", he says, " the many months of research and planning behind our Origin Flyer program have produced a distinctive and innovative result certain to resonate with travellers".
