Press Release: For Immediate Release USA RELEASE: VISIBLE RESULTS' UNIQUE LOYALTY CARD PROGRAM - 23 JULY 2002KANSAS CITY, KS (7/22/02) The Visible Results Group of Companies today announced that three new clients in Singapore recently launched programs based on its revolutionary GraphiCard T loyalty card technology and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. The diversity of the company's newest Singapore clients- Bioskin, City Link Mall and Wing Tai Clothing-underscores the system's versatility and applicability to myriad markets within the retail and hospitality segments. Visible Results USA, based in Kansas City, is a member of The Visible Results Group of Companies. Bioskin, which currently operates three retail day spas in Singapore, is promoting its new Bioskin Revitalize loyalty card through in-store publicity and an extensive incentive catalog offering the company's products and services. At City Link Mall, thousands of people have already signed up the CityShopper program. Anchored by HMV Music, the underground mall houses over 50 stores, including Godiva Chocolatier, Pacific Coffee, Nike, Furla, 7-1l, Guardian pharmacy, H20 beauty products and the French Connection UK flagship store. Wing Tai Clothing's Fashion Fast Forward program covers four of the retailer's men's and women's apparel concepts: TopShop, with three stores; TopMan, and Dorothy Perkins, with two locations apiece; and Miss Selfridge, with six units. Several non-competing merchants and consumer product manufacturers have already established partnerships with Wing Tai through which they provide rewards to Fashion Fast Forward cardholders in return for promotional exposure. Participants to date include cosmetics manufacturers Shiseido and Maybelline, jewelry purveyor Perlini's Silver, and movie theater chain Cathay Cineleisure. With the patented GraphiCardT technology, users' cards are inserted into a small point-of-sale terminal during each sales transaction. A revolutionary thermo-chromic process enables the front of the card to display points accrued through the most recent purchase, along with other personalized data designed to pique consumers' interest. Such data--which is customized for each Visible Results client--can include highly targeted offers, details of special promotions and sales, advertising messages, particulars of instant-win games and more. The terminal instantly prints out customized coupons and similar incentives as transactions are completed. A re-writeable magnetic stripe, incorporated into the back of the card, stores specific data about transactions as they occur. It also allows the back of the card to be automatically re-written every time it is presented, turning it into a self-contained database that eliminates extensive, costly systems integration while encouraging repeated use and fostering customer loyalty. The technology is supported by a sophisticated customer relationship management (CRM) infrastructure. Point-of-sale information collected during transactions involving program members is downloaded to Visible Results' International DataCenter, which maintains customer databases and issues customized reports specifically for each client. Thus, clients need not employ large IT staffs in their own back offices and can efficiently target marketing offers to individual customers. What's more, they can generate all reports needed to operate, fine-tune, and constantly update the program. Bioskin, City Place Mall and Wing Tai Clothing Co, join a roster of Visible Results clients in Singapore that already includes the Caltex Oil Singapore gasoline and convenience store chain, the Novena Square mall, the Phuture London apparel chain, and the Guardian pharmacy chain. Collectively, more than 200,000 Singapore consumers carry loyalty cards from the four initial programs, initiating more than 400,000 GraphiCard T transactions each month. These transactions collectively account for more than S$12 million in monthly spending through the programs. Transaction totals and revenues generated are expected to increase significantly with the introduction of the three new programs.
